Role: Data Engineer

Location: NYC (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a talented and driven Data Engineer to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to a fintech venture with emphasis in capital markets tech based out of the New York City and in exchange we’ll provide you with base comp $150k-$250k, full benefits, cash bonus, and equity.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with electronic trading systems and market data for US Equities

  • Build and maintain reliable data pipelines using Snowflake, AWS, and PostgreSQL

  • Organize and manage business-critical datasets

  • Develop analytics and reporting solutions using Sigma Computing

  • Improve platform monitoring and observability using Grafana, Prometheus, and VictoriaMetrics

  • Experience with GitHub, Jira, and Confluence

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly Preferred:

  • Experience with open-source technologies such as Aeron Transport, Aeron Cluster, Aeron Archive, Artio, and Agrona

  • Experience with the Adaptive Hydra trading platform
