DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer.

Location: NYC (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to a fintech venture with emphasis in capital markets tech based out of the New York City and in exchange we’ll provide you with base comp $125k-175k, full benefits, cash bonus, and equity.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to support our data processing and analytics workflows

  • Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code tools

  • Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to optimize data pipelines and ensure efficient data processing

  • Implement best practices for security, compliance, and performance tuning in AWS environments

  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and reliability of our systems

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in DevOps

Requirements:

  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, S3 Glacier

  • Experience in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, and Terraform

  • Experience with electronic trading is a plus

  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts and experience working with data processing frameworks is a plus

  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Work independently and collaboratively

  • Communication and interpersonal skills

Plus:

  • Experience in Open Source technologies such as Aeron Transport, Aeron Cluster, Aeron Archive, Artio, Agrona, or CoinTossX is a big plus

  • Experience with Adaptive Hydra trading platform is a big plus
